RULES FOR BYOPCers:
1. Make sure all software is downloaded, updated, and installed before coming to the party.
This makes things easier on the host and other guests because there is no waiting for instillations to finish before continuing with the frag-fest. Getting this done also assures that everyone also has the same version and no one has more advantage and reduces conflicts.
2. Bring all hardware and associated cables.
As with the above rule, bring all of your cables (ie. power for monitor and PC, ethernet cables just in case, mouse, keyboard, and headphones. This should be pretty obvious however, there are cases where people forget things. Having everything makes things run smoother because we dont have to spend time at the end during clean up arguing "Whose cable is that?" or "Those are my headphones!.
3. No speakers. Heaphones.
We all like to feel it when we blow off a WWII Gernade, we love to feel the reverberation of the air within our lungs when the time-bomb goes off; however, its much more polite to make it so others arent deafened by your speakers, so please be kind and bring along a pair of headphones.
